Simple yet endlessly captivating – that's why Baccarat remains a favourite for so many players.
Baccarat is one of the easiest casino games to learn, yet it never stops being exciting. Unlike Poker, which requires you to read opponents, or Blackjack, which involves more complex card counting, Baccarat essentially comes down to one key decision: bet on the Banker, Player, or Tie.
That is what makes it so appealing to Malaysian players – from those trying online casino games for the very first time to seasoned gamblers who have been playing for years. You do not need to memorise complex strategies or study lengthy charts. Just sit down, pick a side, and watch the cards be revealed one by one.
At Maxslot, we offer over 50 Baccarat tables from the world's top providers, including Evolution Gaming, Pragmatic Play Live, and Playtech. Each table differs in minimum and maximum bet limits, game type, and available side bets. Some tables start from as little as RM 5 per hand – great for beginners – while VIP tables go up to RM 50,000 per round for more serious players.
What sets Baccarat at Maxslot apart from other platforms is the streaming quality and atmosphere we deliver. Our dealers are professionally trained, engaging, and easy to talk to, while the table environment is designed to make you feel like you're in a luxury casino — from the comfort of your own home or office.

Baccarat is simpler than you think. Here are the basics:
Game objective: The hand closest to 9 wins. You're not playing against the dealer – you simply choose which side will win: Banker, Player, or Tie.
Card values: Cards 2–9 count at face value. 10, J, Q, and K are worth zero. Ace is worth 1. If the total of two cards exceeds 9, the first digit is dropped – for example, 7+6=13 gives a hand value of 3.
Third card rule: The third card is dealt automatically according to fixed rules. You don't need to make that call – the system handles it for you.
Tie Bet: If both hands have the same value, the Tie wins. The payout is high (8:1) but the odds are lower – best suited for the occasional punt.
| Bet Types | Payout | House Edge | Recommendations |
|---|---|---|---|
| Banker | 0.95:1 (minus 5% commission) | 1.06% | Best |
| Player | 1:1 | 1.24% | Good |
| Tie | 8:1 | 14.36% | High risk |
| Banker Pair | 11:1 | 10.36% | Extras |
| Player Pair | 11:1 | 10.36% | Extras |
